Meet Recap

The girl’s cross country team competed this weekend in Holland at the West Ottawa Bredeweg Invitational. Competing in their third race of the season, many of the Knights runners lowered their times yet again. Leading the Knights was Junior Katie Westfall who finished in a 22:06. Passing over twenty runners, Emily Bajema ran a great race crossing the line in 22:19, just seconds off her personal best. Following Kenowa’s top two, Mackenzie Stewart, Anna Berg, Alyssa Lake, and Skylar Szankin all dropped several minutes off their best times. Both boys and girls teams look forward to competing this Friday at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational.
