Knights lose to Lowell 7-1

Lowell 7, Kenowa Hills 1.  The Knights were in danger of getting swept, but Jackson Pohl came up big in thrilling third set tiebreaker.

Kenowa Hills Falls to Reeths-Puffer 7-1

Congrats to Kenowa Hills 1st Singles player Lucas DeVries who was victorious in three sets (6-3, 2-6, 6-3) over an opponent he lost to earlier in the year!

Knights fall to Mona 8-0

Kenowa went on the road and ran into a tough opponent getting swept in all flights.  Justin Breen battled hard at 3rd singles.

Kenowa Hills Varsity swept Fruitport 5-0

The Knights Varsity Tennis swept the Trojans 5-0! All the Knight were victorious Lucas Devries (1 singles), Jackson Pohl (2 singles), Justin Breen (3 singles), Andrew Jackson and Cameron McCarthy (1 doubles), George Ramirez and Cameron Pohl (2 doubles)

Kenowa Falls to Greenville 6-2

Caledonia Invitational 8/25

The Knights traveled to Caledonia and played some tough competition.  Caledonia High School won the tournament with Vicksburg taking 2nd place, Reeths-Puffer and Kenowa Hills finished in 3rd and 4th place.  2nd Singles player Jackson Pohl played exceptionally well for the Knights.

David Bentley Invitational @ Wyoming

Kenowa Hills traveled to Lamar Park in Wyoming for the David Bentley Invitational Monday August 21.  Although the Knights finished in 4th place they earned medals at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Singles.  Each being the runner up in their flight. The round-robin format consisted of Big Rapids, Sparta, Wyoming and Kenowa Hills.

Kenowa Boys Varsity Tennis at Wyoming Invitational 8/16

Despite being unable to field a whole team, Kenowa had a strong showing at the Wyoming Invitational Wednesday 8/16.  Lucas DeVries Took home the gold medal winning his flight at first singles while Justin Breen took home the silver at 3rd singles.  The round-robin format consisted of Wyoming, Greenville, Kelloggsville and Kenowa HIlls.
